The symbolically developed space (taiga, mountains, tundra, lakes, rivers) is closely connected with the economic activities of the Sakha and has its sacred markers of ethnic identity. The close connection of the Sakha with the natural environment determines the peculiarities of the historical and cultural landscape, on the basis of which mythological and symbolic images of spaces appeared, and the mechanism of development of the northern territories was formed.
