В работе традиционный костюм рассматривается как один из основных маркеров этнокультурной идентичности представителей конфессиональной этнографической группы уймонских старообрядцев. На основании полевых материалов автора прослеживаются изменения в бытовании традиционного комплекса одежды в течение XX — начала XXI в. Привлечение сравнительных материалов позволяет интерпретировать эти изменения как тенденцию к нивелированию локальных различий в традиционном костюме. При этом у старообрядцев юга Сибири формируется и начинает преобладать унифицированный комплекс русского традиционного костюма.
The Traditional Costume and the Ethnocultural Identity
of the Uymon Old Believers

The study observes a traditional costume as one of the main markers of ethnocultural identity of representatives from a confessional ethnographical group of the Uymon Old Believers. The researcher uses her field work materials to trace changes in making and usage of traditional complex during the 20th — the beginning of 21st century. The use of the comparative materials allows interpreting these changes as a tendency to reduce the local differences in the traditional costume. The paper notes that the old believers of the South Siberia develop features of the Russian traditional costume, which dominate in the unified complex of the Old Believers’ costume later.
